We’re absolutely thrilled to have taken delivery of our new RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat).
The 7.5m RIB was manufactured by Atlantic Composites in Donegal and it’s inflatable collar and durable materials allow the vessel to maintain its float even in deep seas and poor weather conditions. It’s an invaluable addition to our Search and Recovery Unit, offering the ability to manoeuvre at high-speed with less vulnerability to low-speed impact collisions.
We are delighted to have sourced the RIB in Ireland with Atlantic Composites being the first Irish company to use the innovative Vacuum Infusion technology in manufacturing rigid inflatable boats. The Vacuum Infusion manufacturing process involves the use of Light Resin Transfer Moulding (“Light RTM”) which is most commonly used in the development of high-quality marine products.
