Roscommon SAC is affiliated to CFT (Comhairle Fó Thuinn) also known as Diving Ireland, which was founded in 1963 and it is affiliated to the international underwater federation, CMAS. All of the qualifications earned at Roscommon SAC are internationally recognised.
The training received in Roscommon provides the diver with skills and abilities to dive in waters all around the world armed with a qualification that is respected worldwide. The diver training programme offers the trainee diver a sensible balance of diving theory and in-water practice.
The emphasis is on safety and on the familiarisation of key underwater skills. These life skills provide the key to exploring and enjoying our magnificent underwater world.
